Use

For better styling, repeatedly direct a stream of heat from the hairdryer onto the strand from an appropriate distance, keeping it taut from the roots. For longer-lasting styles, let the brush cool down while the hair is still wrapped around it. If you want less volume at the roots, release the brush along the length up to the middle of the hair and let the ends cool in a rounded position.
