Capixil™ is a complex consisting of a tetrapeptide and red clover extract (patent no. WO 2005/009456 – US7057719). The main red clover isoflavone, Biochanin A, is an effective inhibitor of type 1 and type 2 5-alpha-reductase. Biochanin A suppresses inflammation by blocking the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The lotion also contains salicylic acid and resorcinol, which, in combination, have antiseborrheic, exfoliating, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Placental extract and saw palmetto extract have a stimulating effect on hair growth and an antiandrogenic effect. Hydrolyzed keratin, one of the lotion’s ingredients, improves hair structure and gives hair more shine and volume. It is indicated for prolonged hair loss and thinning.
