Capixil™ is a complex consisting of tetrapeptide and red clover extract (patent No. WO 2005/009456 – US7057719). The main isoflavone of red clover, Biochanin A, is an effective inhibitor of type 1 and 2 5-alpha-reductase. Biochanin A suppresses inflammation by blocking the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The lotion also contains salicylic acid and resorcinol, which in combination have antiseborrheic, exfoliating, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Placental extract and saw palmetto extract have a stimulating effect on hair growth and an anti-androgenic effect. Hydrolyzed keratin, which is one of the components of the lotion, improves hair structure and adds more shine and volume to the hair. It is indicated for long-term hair loss and thinning.
